A slim 12ct yellow gold bar set with a rich textured golden Swallow bird in flight.
The Swallow is shouldered each side by a magical glowing moonstone cabochon, each claw set in a slightly raised mount, Moonstone are said to bring feelings of love, affection and power to the wearer.
Swallow were also given as a sign of love and affection and amongst other things they represented safe travel or return.
It is small in size but big on symbolism and design and really stands out, the moonstone are a good size and the textured finish to the Swallow really finishes it nicely.
This stunning brooch has an unusual design and could be worn in a multitude of ways, as a scarf pin, tie or cravat pin, as a brooch, it is a very versatile design.
It has an old C type clasp, this has been twisted so that it holds tighter but still works well.
The moonstones have good Adularescence one moreso than the other.
